Compass Legal Assistance is a Fresno-based self-help legal document service with more than 15 years of hands-on experience guiding individuals and families through the court system. We are fully bonded and deeply familiar with the quirks of local clerks, courtrooms, and filing requirements. Our mission is simple: make the legal process less intimidating and more affordable.

We proudly serve clients throughout Fresno County and surrounding communities, and we are here for you whether you need documents drafted, filings submitted, or legal notices served.
What We Do
Our services cover both family law and civil matters, with an emphasis on efficiency, transparency, and compassion.
Family Law: Divorce, Custody (including emergency orders), Restraining Orders, Guardianships & Conservatorships, Minor Estate Planning (wills, deeds, trusts), and Child & Spousal Support.
Civil Matters: Evictions (our specialty), Small Claims ($250 flat, including service in Fresno–Clovis), and registered Service of Process (bonded, same-day options near the Sheriff’s Dept).
